Öz

Dünyadaki en değerli madenlerden biri olan altın; yüzyıllar boyunca insanoğlu tarafından mücevherat takı yapımında ve para olarak kullanılmıştır. Günümüzde Türkiye’de altın; geleceğe yönelik bir güvence aracı, popüler bir yatırım aracı alternatifi olarak da değerlendirilmektedir. Ancak Türkiye’deki altının büyük bir kısmının yastıkaltında olduğu düşünülmektedir. Yastıkaltındaki altınların finansal sisteme kazandırılması ekonomik açıdan oldukça önemlidir. Türkiye’de bunun yapılabilmesi için çeşitli adımlar atılmıştır. Bu adımlarda kısmen bir başarı elde edilse bile henüz istenen seviyeler yakalanamamıştır. Bu yüzden bu çalışmanın amacı; Türkiye’deki yastıkaltındaki altınların finansal sisteme daha fazla kazandırılması için alternatif proje önerileri ortaya koymaktır. Bu kapsamda 5 farklı proje tasarlanarak ortaya konmuştur. Bu projelerin bundan sonra geliştirilecek projelere ışık tutması ve geliştirilerek uygulamaya konmasının yastıkaltı altınların ekonomiye kazandırılmasına pozitif etkisinin olacağı düşünülmektedir.

Alternative Projects For The Financialization of Gold Under the Mattress in Turkey

Abstract

Gold, one of the most valuable metals in the world, has been used by mankind for centuries to make jewelry, as well as money. Today in Turkey, gold is considered as a means of security for the future and a popular investment alternative. However, most of the gold in Turkey is believed to be under the mattress. Bringing gold under the mattress into the financial system is of great economic importance. Various steps have been taken in Turkey to make this possible. Even if these steps have been partially successful, the desired levels have not yet been achieved. The aim of this study is to develop alternative project proposals to bring more gold under the mattress in Turkey into the financial system. In this context, 5 different projects were designed and presented. It is thought that these projects will shed light on the projects to be developed in the future and that their development and implementation will have a positive impact on bringing gold under the mattress into the economy.
