Öz
Modern dönemde spekülatif felsefenin bilime evirilmesinin doğal sonucu olarak iktisat özelinde mekanikleşme yaşanmaktadır. Söz konusu mekanikleşme tecrübesi, iktisatta diğer sosyal bilimlere nazaran daha erken dönemlerde ve daha profesyonel bir tarzda gerçekleşmektedir. Heterodoks iktisat okulları mekanikleşmeye meydan okumaktadırlar, çünkü heterodoks iktisat okulları hem disiplinin araştırma nesnesini genişletme ve bizzat iktisadi olan üzerine düşünme hem de iktisat ile diğer sosyal bilimler arasında diyalog kurma iddiasındadırlar. Bu iki iddianın göründüğü çaba iktisadi düşüncedir ve iktisadi düşüncenin belirginleşmesine katkı sunan hermeneutik yöntemdir. Hermeneutik yöntem iktisadı felsefi olana doğru götürürken disiplinin araştırma nesnesini genişletir ve disiplinin sosyal bilimler içerisinde tarihsel olarak kavranmasına imkân sunar. Bu çalışmada iktisat ve hermeneutik ilişkisi Thorstein Veblen ve Ludwig Lachmann özelinde incelenecektir. İktisat disiplininin sosyal bilimler içerisinde ayrıcalıklı bir yer edinmesi ancak hermeneutik yöntemi de içeren iktisadi düşünceye bağlıdır.

An Intellectual Field on the Edge of Social Sciences: Economic Thought
Abstract
In the modern period, mechanization is experienced in economics as a natural consequence of the evolution of speculative philosophy into science. This mechanization experience in economics occurs in earlier periods and more professional manner compared with other social sciences. Heterodox economics schools challenge mechanization, because heterodox economics schools claim to expand the research object of the discipline and think about what is economic, as well as to establish a dialogue between economics and other social sciences. These two claims are seen as economic thought and it is hermeneutical method that contributes to the clarification of economic thought. The hermeneutic method expands the research object of the discipline as it leads to the philosophical one, and allows the historical discovery of the discipline within the social sciences. In this study, the relationship between economics and hermeneutics will be examined from the perspective of Ludwig Lachmann and Thorstein Veblen. That economics can have a privileged place in the social sciences depends on the economic thought including the hermeneutical method.
